Derek Morris

President of Hope Channel Inc., the global Christian television network of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Derek Morris oversees the operations of the Hope Channel network of 43 affiliate channels, in addition to hosting the very popular Hope Sabbath School, authoring and more. He previously served as editor of Ministry Magazine. Derek holds a DMin in Preaching from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Charlotte, North Carolina and another DMin in Practical Theology from Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan.


Ron Smith

As president of Southern Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, Ron Smith leads the work of more than 250,000 church members, pastors, educators, and evangelists. He has served in the Seventh-day Adventist ministry for 40 years, including as senior pastor of Berean Church in Los Angeles, California, and Ephesus Church in Harlem, New York. He is also a registered clinical psychologist and marital and family therapist. Smith earned his PhD in psychology at Fuller Graduate School of Psychology, a DM from Colgate Rochester Divinity School, and MDiv from Andrews University Theological Seminary, and a BA from Oakwood University.


Minner Labrador

Dr. Minner Labrador, Jr. serves as Vice-President of the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists in Columbia, Maryland. Speaker for Live by Faith Ministries. He formerly served as president of the Upper Columbia Conference in the Northwest and in the Southwestern Union Conference as Vice President of Ministries; Ministerial Secretary, Men’s Ministries and Stewardship Director. Minner is a graduate of Southern Adventist University located in Collegedale, Tennessee; Andrews University located in Berrien Springs, Michigan; and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary located in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his doctoral studies with a specialty in redemptive leadership and healthy organizational structures.


Allan Machado

Elected as the 24th president of the Florida Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in 2018, Allan Machado serves nearly 64,000 SDA members. Machado’s ministry has grown from the days of holding offices in his local church, to pastoral service, and then leading to administration positions on the conference level of lay ministry coordinator, ministerial field secretary, vice president of Spanish-language ministries, assistant to the president, executive secretary, and interim president.
