Our Community

God made us to be in community with people. We need each other, because we can do more, be more, and endure more when we’re walking through life together. Small groups at Orlando Central Church are places to build authentic relationships with people who will support you and love you, no matter what.

Our Beliefs

Seventh-day Adventists are a Christian denomination that originated in the United States in the mid-19th century. Listed are some of our core beliefs.

  • The Bible is the inspired and authoritative word of God.

  • There is one God, who exists as three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit.

  • Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, and his death on the cross provides forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

  • The second coming of Jesus Christ is imminent, and this event will usher in the end of the world as we know it.

  • The seventh-day Sabbath (Saturday) is a holy day of rest and worship, and should be observed by Christians.

  • Human beings were created in the image of God, but are fallen and in need of salvation.

  • The soul is not immortal, but will be resurrected at the second coming of Christ.

  • Healthful living is important for spiritual and physical well-being.

  • The church is a community of believers who are called to share the gospel with the world.

  • Salvation is by grace through faith, and is available to all who accept Jesus Christ as their Savior.
